I have recently acquired a Minox 35 EL. It seems to work okay, but it looks pretty battered. There are a good number of places where the paint has worn through or chipped off. Is there a way to refinish the plastic? It wouldn't be a problem if it was a smooth finish, but this seems to be textured.

It won't be as good as original but you could try some textured paint and dab it on with a sponge. The chipped paint will be a problem though because it will leave a "depression" in the finish.
