Have a broken Mamiya Press 100/3.5 to fix. Need a spare shutter (Seikosha-S, presumably size 0), or broken shutter for parts (the minor time selecting pin inside mine is missing).

hi sevo I need parts for a 65mm shutter. As you seem to know what you're doing, can you tell me if the shutter units on the 65mm, 100mm and 150mm mamiya press lenses are interchangeable? Both shops I took the lens into to fix said they couldn't find a part. thanks.

Sorry, I have no idea, never having had a 65mm apart. Might be, but even if the 65mm uses the same basic shutter size as the normals, you'd have to switch aperture rings or even the entire aperture mechanism, as the aperture scaling will not be the same...

Thank you. I,ll keep an eye out for a cheap press or even TLR with the same shutter and hope the parts are interchangeable. The 65mm seems to work OK except for the 1/2 and 1 sec and "B" settings. I just saw the date of your first posting!! Hope you were able to find your part. Thanks again.
