Restoring my Aires III L I found one of the diaphragm blades has lost the stud.I found the stud inside but too fix the stud back on the blade is not easily with no guarantee it will hold.
So I am looking for a new blade. If somebody has one,ore a complete shutter, I will be interested.
It is a 5-blade diaphragm, the total length is 29 mm, the length between the 2 studs is 26 mm.
Thanks,

I wonder if epoxy would hold the stud on? I've repaired diaphragm blades that have lost their studs before, but this looks a bit trickier. Might be worth a try?

Does this shutter have any letters like Seikosha SLV or Seikosha MX or ? Is it plain Seikosha? I ask because the pic. looks a lot like the Seikosha in the Yashica TLRs (which I have parts for).

It's a Seikosha-MXL (at least my Aires 35-IIIL is).

David is right,it's a MXL shutter. I used cyanoacrylaat to glue the stud on the blade. It's all functioning well but only time will tell.
Finnegan: I can't tell You wether the Yashica shutter is the same but thanks for your interest.
regards,

Looks as if either epoxy or cyanoacrylate should hold the pin. Luckily the missing pin is on the pivot end, not the operating end of the blade, so not much force on it.
