Someone gave me a Sears KRS the other day. (K mount Ricoh K-10 clone I'm told.) The lens is crap, fungus. (Truly sucks that because I wanted that wide angle, but whatever. It's trash, shrug.) The KXS top of the rewinder knob is gone, knob can be used though. It needs CLA light seals, but it looks like it might have some useful parts left?

May also have a P3 body for parts too soon, not sure. I got it with a lot of lenses on Goodwill. There's someone on the Pentax board who may be getting that one if it turns out it's viable. She loves them apparently. No accounting for taste, laugh. P3's are so NOT my thing. Even if it's Pentax that is one FUGLY camera, IMHO, and I will not be keeping it regardless, but if it has issues and I can't send it her way then I'll just let you all have that one to play with for parts or fixing up too, k?

KSX up for grabs now though. I really don't need it even if it does work and I figure someone can use some of it's innards.

Thanks!

Note: I did put batteries into the Sears camera this evening to see if it works at all and it appears to do so though I'm not quite sure if it's doing so perfectly. It seems like there is a bit of shutter lag to me on some settings but I'm admittedly no expert there and it may be just a perception on my part. I'm still thinking it might be good for parts but it just might be that it can be put right again?
