I've accumulated a few boxes of non-functioning Yashia CC, GX, and Canon QL17 cameras. None have good lenses, but I have clean top and bottom covers, levers, screws, buttons, etc. Let me know what you might need.

I am looking for the plastic battery compartment for a QL17. Mine has been corroded right through. Is that something you would have?

I can really use a film rewind knob & washers for the Yashica CC. Mine fell off recently, apparently due to the fact that I didn't screw it on tight enough after removing it to clean the rangefinder.

Another rather good Canon QL17 GIII here too. I'll send to any forum member for cheap (shipping and maybe $5 - $2 or so; or haggle with me for even cheaper). Shutter does not operate, but I didn't bother troubleshooting because I have a couple nice QLs already. Yes, battery compartment is complete. Lens is perfect. Only missing part is frame counter window (that I know of).

Hollenbj Did you say there was an Adapter in the QL17 GIII the adapter that is made by FJ de GRUIJTER his BAT 81S? If so can I buy it and if you do have one will buy the QL17 GIII parts possibly as I live quite a ways away. But if you do have the Battery adapter tell me how much.

Rick,

I'm not exactly sure what the battery adapter is that you're interested in, but my body does not have an adapter. Sorry.

The QL17 used one PX625(or equivalent) battery. If you're trying to use a modern non-mercury battery (e.g., zinc-air or maybe a silver oxide) it shouldn't be a problem. Just match the voltage as best as possible (I'm sure to hear about discharge curves now) and use shims to get a good fit with contact in the battery chamber. I've rigged hundreds of cameras this way (well, at least 50).

Perhaps the battery adapter you're after is something else entirely?

Luck00,
I have a non-functioning Canonet QL17 GIII. It has a Copal shutter, but I'm not sure if its a Copal SV. The camera doesn't work, but I doubt the shutter is bad. However, I really don't know because I haven't disassembled it (I already have a perfect QL17 and QL19). Its available.

Can you list all the parts that are available?

Jorgea,

The QL17 went to Luck00. If I uncover another one, I'll post its availability here. I do need to reduce the number of non-working, redundant, equipment I have.
