I am looking for a Yashinon taking lens for a 124G camera. I can use the rear lens group if the front is scratched. My rear lens group is badly attacked by fungus. I have tried to polish it away, but I can't get it completely smooth. |

How was it solved? Did you find a donor? I was just looking at a 124 in my closet and wondering if it still worked... |

I bought a shutter with the lens groups from a guy in Romania. The shutter was defective, but the lens groups are ok. As a result of that, I have a shutter that can be used for parts and the front lens group in good condition. I also have the rear lens group, but it is somewhat damaged by fungus. You can probably polish it until it can be used, but then you have no coating on the lens surface that faces the shutter. |
