I'm hunting for a suitable front element of a 50's Xenotar for my 2.8C that has a scratched one.
It looks quite bad to be honest (how can you do that to a lens?? anyway) but to my surprise it just lowers general contrast but doesn't affect sharpness, with an effect sometimes even desirable. Still, if you have something for me (I'll consider pairs of different lenses, so if you have a Planar with his taking lens I might be interested in a swap) just drop me an email at [email protected]
