What has happened to the website ChromeAgeCamera? I just get the 404 not found message, and miss the site as it was a mine of information,

That was a site with a lot of original observations on old cameras. It is odd that people put so much effort into creating such sites and then give up on them. There seem to be very few left about pre-'70s cameras to which new additions are being made. It would be nice to have a links page to encourage people inclined to share info on their old gear. If such a links list can't be maintained here, I would be happy to put one up on my Photography and Vintage Cameras site (http://mconnealy.com). |
