I have picked up a Braun Paxette that seems a little unusual. At least my research has not turned up an image like this one.
Braun Paxette
It has a Prontor SVS shutter with interlocking aperture and shutter speed and an LV number indicator. The lens Is an Enna Werk Plastigon 50/2.8. It has an extinction light meter and no rangefinder. I have found a reference to this combination as a Paxette I (second generation), but I was wondering how common it is.
Has anyone seen this combination before?

Specification-wise it seems to match the Paxette IL on this page: http://www.ukcamera.com/classic_cameras/braun1.htm

The model variations of the Paxette range are very confusing, though!

You might be right. I've seen this page before, but I was reading "bright frame finder" as being a larger viewfinder as on the much later models.
If you look at this chart, the IL has the higher top plate.

You're right. 'L' appears to stand for Leuchtrahmensucher (=bright frame finder).

What about second-generation Paxette I, without a suffix. This site http://www.collection-appareils.fr/braun/html/Braun_paxette_I_1954.php describes it as "rare". I can't find any record of it with a Plastigon lens, which would make it even rarer!

I stand by what I said about them being confusing.
