Could anyone tell me when this line of vintage Kodak cameras was manufactured? I have one in very good condition which came from my father's estate.

I have one of the earlier Tourist cameras which I bought new in 1955, so the Tourist II would be after that. There is a slight difference in the bodies. Each model had variations of shutter and lens.

These things came with a choice of 3 different shutters/lenses.

But don't quit your day job yet. A Kodak Tourist is a $10. camera.

Yeah, all folding bellows cameras fool everybody into thinking they have a priceless antique. Even if it were 40 years older it would still be about as worthless. The big problem is, if you mass produce cameras by the zillion like Kodak did and sell them cheap, everybody buys one so, even 50 years later, there are plenty still hanging around. How rare/valuable can that be?

I had one of these with the f12.5 lens. Also the f4.5 model with the 800 shutter. There were two types of viewfinder. One was large and the other one, on Model II I believe, was small and not so good. The collector book says there were also f8.8 and f6.3 versions. I understand people grind down the film spool area to adapt it for 120 film.
