hey i have an argus/cosina stl1000 and the mirror broke i need help finding a repair shop online or by the sacramento area, i asked a local shop and said it was unlikely i'd find any replacement anywhere. hopefully you can help me out.

Buy a Cosina SLR junker for low $$$ on ebay, you will find tons of them, and cannibalize the mirror. Most older Cosina SLRs have very similar if not identical design.

Remember that the thickness has to match the original precisely, otherwise the focussing screen has to be re-adjusted.
