I have a Canon Elan 7N that has a bent hot-shoe, and I am going to replace it myself. Can anybody tell me how to do this? My flash still works (420 EX) when I shoot horizonally, but when I frame vertically it no longer makes contact with one of the contacts. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
