I have the following Minolta XG series cameras.XG-1,7,9.All have some small residue that appears to be on the inside surface of the focus screen. The screens seem to be unremovable for service.Does anyone have any experience with cleaning these type of screens.Thank you.

Check at the front of the screen for a metal retaining clip which holds the screen in place. Only the earlier 7's lack this. Moving the clip forward will release the screen and drop it out. Before you get to that point all of the warnings about cleaning plastic focusing screens which are posted here should be read and followed.
