Hello. I bought yashica electro gt. Shutter didnt open fully (at all shutter speeds)-the blades opened too slow and at B setting shutter dindt close. I have cleaned shutter blades and restored contact under release button for B time. Everything works fine now, but there is one strange thing - without batery, the shutter should operate with 1/500 s. I own two another GTs, without batery they operate properly. But the Yashica I repaired without batery doesnt open the shutter fully. I have looked on a dissasembled shutter mechanism from Electro GTN and I cant find any importance for this behaviour - is the shutter still dirty, or there was any construction change, which caused the older Yashicas open shutter w/o battery fully and never versions not ?thanks for suggestions

Experienced the same, the blades were still dirty in their being linked to the baseplate, proper rotation was not possible that way. After careful cleaning everything worked as it should.
