I'm trying to get the lens/shutter off this Super Memar for repair, but it isn't like any other silette/memar I've seen. This is the model with solagon lens, unit focusing, rear helical.

I took the top/bottom covers off but there are no screws that I can see that allow the front panel to be removed. Anyone worked on one of these types before and have some hints?

Thanks,
Dan

Its been a long time, but it seems to me that the shutter/lens assembly is held on with a jam nut, located at rear of shutter, surrounding the rear element. Look for screws to remove the front panel inside the back.

Thanks Ed. What was confusing was that the screws around the film gate were covered with black plastic disks. At first glance they just look like depressions in the metal. I popped the little disks off with a sewing needle and found the screws.
