Could you please suggest sources of those tiny grub screws (e.g. m1.4) found inside lenses etc? |

I have purchased lenses on eBay that supplied such screws. Just be sure to check the shipping costs, too. You may find the very lens you are working on listed "For Parts" because of damage to the glass, and get it really cheap. Patience is the only way. |
