I have a Vivitar XC-2 SLR which I got for a bargain price because it needs fixing. The only thing wrong is the mirror is stuck up and it will not wind or fire. This camera is made by Cosina and is the same as the Cosina CSR. It's a neat camera since it's an M42 SLR with spot-metering capability. Does anyone know if this is fixable? Anyone know a repair person who might be able to fix it?

Sorry David, I don't have any ideas on a fix, but if you can't get it repaired you could get a Mamiya MSX or DSX if you would like an M42 SLR with spot-metering capability (although not autoexposure).
