the above camera has an operating shutter but i can tell that the speeds are off when set at 60,125 seems the shutter is open about 1 sec at 500,250 sounds right at 1000 back to 1 sec 30 seems to be right but the others are either too fast or slow what could be causing this.the meter is working but have not checked against a known good meter for accuaracy.

that sounds like kind of a mess. the shutter speed escapement is up under the top cover, between the viewfinder screen and the wind lever. i have a sketch for getting there if you haven't made the trip before.

actually after some further chercking i was in error.the shutter speeds are ok it is a delay before tripping caused by a non working timer.anyone have any ideas on how to repair the timer?
