My Bessa R is jammed up-the wind lever won't work and the shutter will not release. When I remove the lens I can see that the secondary shutter is stuck in the open position, i.e., it's not covering the primary Copal shutter. I suspect that I wound too quickly after a shot, and caught the secondary shutter before it had a chance to close. Any suggestions on how to resolve this? I already know that I could send it to Steve Gandy's outfit for repair, but any other suggestions on repair would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
