I have been offered to buy a non-fuctioning but good looking Canon T50, for next to nothing. I have no idea what the problem might be, it just doesn´t respond to any attempts to bring it to life. Is it worth the time and effort to try to repair it? Are these cameras easy to work on? What are the most common failures? I´ve done quite a lot of repairs on "MMM"-cameras before, but no electronic/plastic stuff. (Perhaps this is not a proper conversation for this Forum). If anyone has done something like this before, please let me know. |

No. To me, unless all the camera needs is a new set of batteries,it's a waste of money.Working Canon T-50 cameras can be had for less than $50 on E-bay,many time with a lens and some other accessories. Not much on a T-50 a tinkerer can work on himself. Ed |

Agreed. Try new alkaline batteries, if still no go, use as bookend. |
