Hi there,

I got a used Minolta X-700 with the light reading far too low. But it is not completely out: When I set film sensitivity to max (1600) and no lens attached, exposure is set to about 1/2 sec, and changes to under-range when shaded. Lens aperture setting has an effect, thus neither film sensitivity nor lens aperture appear broken. Found no loose wires or shorts.

Any suggestions where to look? Is this a symptom of the common capacitor problem? Does anyone know the voltage levels from the camera PCB as they should be?
