I finally tackled the Spotmatic problem (see https://kyp.hauslendale.com/classics/forum/messages/2/6055.html?1140583002) Turns out to have been a relatively easy fix, as the mirror box did not have to come out. This was a relief to me as this is the first time I've taken the front off an SLR. The problem was a sticky kick-plate hinge and gummy switch. A little Ronsonal set them both right. Thanks to all for the advice! |
