Hi
my sons camera appears to have alight leakage problem, I am no camera buff but fix most things.
It looks like there are no seals of any sort should there be ?
The rear cover is slightly loose when latched, could this be the problem ?

It definitely should have seals in it. I have not written a set for the K1000 yet, but there is a set for the Spotmatic on this site, and you can follow this link to them: https://kyp.hauslendale.com/classics/sealreplacement.html
