My son's Minolta X-700 just died and it does not appear to be the capacitor. He first started getting a low battery indication that did not clear with new batteries. Then the camera died, no metering no, shutter action, etc. Any ideas?

There are two sets of capacitors in the X-700, one reason this model has more of these problems than similar era Minoltas.
