My Minolta SRT-102 is beginning to exhibit capping at higher shutter speeds.

I've been told that the condition might be related to old lube on one of the curtain pivot points becoming sticky and that cleaning and relubing of the shutter mechanisms that require this may well fix it.

How big a job is this with this camera and if it can be done without a lot of specialized tools could someone show me what has to be done to accomplish this?

Many thanks!

Grant

I just had my Minolta SRT-102 overhauled by John Titterington ([email protected]). This camera had this problem, now it works perfect.
