A friend has a Zeiss Ikon camera, which he bought around 1946. The shutter release is 'sticking' and he would like to have it repaired or / and serviced. He lives in Cyprus and has been unable to locate a repair facility there. He would be happy to send the camera to any place that could fix it.
The details taken from the camera are:
No 527/24. H34357
Novicar-Anasticmat
Prontor-SVS. Contina lens (F4 - F22)

Dan Mitchell has an article on opening up a Prontor SVS shutter. Click on http://www.daniel.mitchell.name/cameras/prontor/prontor.html
Good luck. I've opened up the shutter on my Contina III... It's not so bad. Good article, and very helpful. Mine was not working at all.

Sounds like a modest naphtha flush is in order.
