My Konica FT-1 appears to be in good shape with a working meter. But in the auto mode, the lens aperture does not close down to value indicated by the meter reading- i.e. stays wide open when shutter is released. Aperture closes down as it should ne in the manual mode.

I have one that does the same thing. I hope someone here can shed light on it. I've hesitated to open it up because I have too many half-finished projects to start another. For the moment I've sidestepped the problem by putting a big old mirror lens on it.
