Hi - my Canon T50 will not fire unless I hit the shutter a second time...the mirror is frozen open. I've never encountered a problem of this nature before and I'm wondering if this is an electrical or mechanical problem.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi Margaret, The problem could be an electrical or mechanical problem. How does the shutter blades look, are them off track?
