Hello,

Just bought a dirt cheap Nikon FA, which is working ok except that focusing seems to go slightly 'over' when focusing on distant objects, judging by the split image on the focusing screen. I'm assuming that the problem is in the mirror, since it seems that the error in infinite focus seems to change a bit when I've released the shutter or have given the camera a slight shake. The focusing screen seems to be mounted properly.

How big of a job is it to adjust the mirror, and is it the sort of a job better left to a professional?
