I got an Olympus OM 1n. The lgith meter does not respond to the light althoungh shutter fires at all speed. I need help to repairt the problem. Thanks.

Check corrosion of battery terminal, check continuity of coil
(blue wire to earth-take top off)-if no coil continuity, sad, none anywhere that I know except wrecks- check meter to earth via small copper connector under meter housing- and you'll have to re-calibrate for a 1.5v cell if you don't have a 1.35v Mercury cell. Meter has no effect on speeds-this is a totally mechanical camera.
