Hi. I bought a Pentax ESII today that seems to work well except that the meter is inoperative. (four LR-44 batteries installed) Is this a common problem? Where do I have to start looking? I took off the bottom plate and the lower circuit board and everything seems clean. All the wires are well attached and not corroded as far as I can see -some dive deep into the body and those coming from the battery compartment (which is also uncorroded BTW) are out of sight. Thanks.
