Hi, I recently aquired an absolutely gorgeous Super Ikonta 530/16. This canera looks like it just came out of the shop. Does anyone know where I could get a bushing to adapt the tripod mounting hole to the size of newer tripods? I always take it with me when I'm out with my RB-67(first gen.), and I really don't want to carry two tripods. Thanks.

Ed I do not know where you live, but any good camera shop should have these or can easily get one. Often times you will see them hanging on a peg board along with other small items like filters, lens cleaners, and the like. The small tripod thread is a 1/4-20. I believe the larger is metric, but never mind, so far as I know there is only one bushing of this type. Take your camera along. Good luck.

Threads are the good old 1/4" and 3/8" Whitworth.

Thanks much for the help. Of course about an hour after I posted, I decided to look through a few of my "boxes O' stuff" and I found just what I needed. Who says being a pack rat is bad!!???
