I recently purchased a Fujica ST705 SLR. Operation of the TTL meter on this camera requires that the shutter button be depressed half-way.

Unfortunately, after advancing the film, the shutter button tends to stick requiring several seconds of fidgeting to unstick it so that I can depress it half-way.

Any suggestions on how this might be fixed? Thanks!

Both my 701 & 605 use a button on the bodies front. If I understand you your Camera uses the Nikon MF method for meter usage.

I hope the ST-701 manual helps in some way.

Mike
