Hi! My Rokkor 85/1.7 PF has an oily aperture. I've pulled-apart my MD50/1.7, MD28/2.8, AF28/2 and a bunch of Pentax lenses, so I've done this kind of thing before, but the Rokkor lens looks rather more challenging... Can anybody tell me how I crack-it-open without doing any damage? Many thanks! |

Have the same problem with the 1,7/85. Thanks for both the thread and the links, W. |

Hi! Many thanks for this info... the pictures are great, but I have one small question. My 85/1.7 is slightly older than the one in the picture and whilst it is othewise very similar, the focus dial is all-metal (no rubber grip) and there is no obvious 'join' towards the top. Would you happen to know how to perform the very first step in the sequence of photos of removing the 'cap' from the top of the lens? Thanks again for your help! |
