I recently acquired a rolleiflex sl35e. There appears to be several things wrong with it. First, and perhaps the 2 most concerning things are that the shutter adjustment knob never clicks (it should, right? like all other cameras), and that the meter consistently calls for a 2-4 second exposure... regardless of aperture. Also, the frame counter doesn't work, even when the film is advancing. Anyone know any fixes, or even places to start? I'd really like to get that light meter working, to see if the other stuff will work.

-Thanks in advance

The shutter dial in my Rollei SL2000F has no click stops, so that may just be Rollei's style. The frame counter (my guess) is probably just dirty and failing to engage. Not sure about the meter - do you have to stop the lens down to meter with that one? I think some of the early Rollei lenses lacked the necessary coupling for open aperture metering, so even if the camera supports it the lens may not.
