Hello forum users!

I'm new in this forum and I'm from Germany, so please excuse bad english in advance!

After successfully replacing the "Pad of Death", I recognize a never before hearable "click" when I lightly shuttle the whole objective-unit (not focus or shutter) of my Electro 35. It is only a little little way, you can't see it, but you can hear it.

Does this get worser and does it affect correct functioning of the Yashica?

Thank you in advance for your answers!

Best regards
Martin

Hi Martin, these cameras are never completely "silent", and if you shake them movable parts inside inevitably produce all sorts of noises.
Are you sure that clicking sound wasn't there before your replacing the pad? How far did you take your camera apart when installing the pad? Maybe you simply forgot retightening one of the screws etc inside, W.
