I have a Zeiss Ikon Contaflex Super B camera that works fine except for the mirror assembly, which does not come down fully after being cocked. Can anyone recommend a good repair shop for this? I am interested in repairing this camera if possible as it has great sentimental value.

Essex Camera Service, 100 Amor Avenue, Carlstat, New Jersey 07072 has done excellent work for me and is one of the repair companies listed by the Leica Historical Society of America as having done good work for their members.Their phone is 201-933-7272. Their prices are reasonable but repair services are not cheap these days.

I'll throw in my usual plug for my local shop:

Vermont Camera Works in Pittsford, VT. You can email them with inquiries. Like Essex, prices usually reasonable, but not what you'd call cheap. They've always stuck to their estimates in my experience.
