I have removed the compur sv shutter from a braun paxette. This is to remove optical elements and aperture leafs to remove corrosion and dirt.

How can i test the self timer operation without further disassembly. The mechanism operates when the shutter is triggered AND a locking arm is lifted manually on the timer cogs, but I can't see how this is supposed to operated in normal operation.

Thanks

Oli

Is there a small lever on the side with a position marked "V"? if so, set the lever to that position and release the shutter and see what happens.
