Does anyone have any info to help me repair my OM1.
The problem is, as I wind the film on the shutter trips.
Its an intermitent fault and sometimes with no film in it will wind on no problem but as soon as I put a film in it starts playing up

You can download the OM-1 service manual from this site [http://olympus.dementia.org/Hardware/]. The phenomenon you described is due to a small lever in the bottom of the camera [which you can reach by removing the bottom plate (4 screws)] slipping off its place when shutter is being cocked. Check the manual for details.
