The ASA / shutter speed dial on my K1000 is missing 3 set screws. will this cause me to be unable to change the ASA settings? When I lift the dial and turn it there is no resistance at all and therefore I can't change film speeds.

Where could I get some these screws ?

Thanks,
Gary H

Are they ALL gone? You might find replacements at Micro-Tools, but you'll need to know the size (probably either 1.4 or 1.7mm).

If all else fails, i think i have a junk K1000 body i could pull them out of.

Thanks Rick, I used three screws from an eyeglass repair kit and I can now set the film speed. The screws aren't the correct length but I think I can get some smaller length screws from an Optician. Thanks for offering the the parts though.

If the screws are too long you can shorten them by file or grinding stone.
