I have an SRT - looks like no one ever used it.
Probably why it has problems.

On slower shutter speeds, the second curtain does not return all the way, thus not returning the mirror.
1/1000 and 1/500 work fine.

I took the bottom plate off, and can trip the mirror manualy.

I used a can of electronics cleaner and cleaned the bottom out (probably a bad idea)

Then everything worked perfect, all speeds.

After the cleaner fully dried, it was back to the same problem.

Anyone know what I need to lube?
Any suggestions?

It sounds to me like the curtain tension is weak so that second doesn't travel with sufficient force to release the mirron latch. lever--looks under bottom coveer.
