my fe wont get power evenb with new battery. any suggestions?

Make absolutely sure that the contacts in the camera and the battery surface are clean. A film can form which you cannot see, so clean these surfaces well. I have found that for some reason my FE is particullarly prone to this problem.

Make sure the plastic shell that the bateries sit in is securely down in the cap--super glue in (sparingly).

what do i clean it with? Alchohol?

cleaned with alcohol and didnt fix. The battery holder inside moves is this what you were talking about? Also could i take off the bottom screws and the panel can i see the problem?

Be sure that the battery is installed properly. (polarity wise)
