I recently purchased a Minolta XG-A and after looking everything over found out that the Film-advance lever will not move more than a half stroke. I cannot load film. If anyone knows how to fix this problem I would greatly appreciate it. The owners manual does not carry a trouble shooting section.

Hi, Nili.

Are the batteries good? This camera has an electronic shutter and needs good batteries to work. It sounds like the shutter may be cocked but can not fire. Please let us know.

Jon
