I have a Fujica STX-1N camera with the mirror stuck in the up
position. The curtain that is visible shows the "solid" vertical
member about 1/4" from the right side when looking into the front of
the camera. I am sure this is not the right terminology for
whatever this piece is. Shutter and advance mechanisms also
frozen. I took off the bottom and was able to play with the advance
gearing and was able to make it move. While doing this, during the
advance, the curtain would move right to left and when letting the
advance lever go back to start, the curtain would return left to
right. Also, when advancing, there is no gear activity relative to
the curtain advance as I have seen when comparing it to a camera
that works. Anybody out there have any thoughts????

Thanks in advance for the help.

Tom
