I need to remove the front lens from a Prontor-matic 500 shutter assembly so I can lubricate and tighten the focus ring on the front lens. Any suggestions as to how I can do this without destroying a nice camera?

Found it myself... There are two small screws on the focus ring knobs. Once they're out, the index ring slips off. There are three grub screws under it. They weren't installed properly, hence, the spongy ring. It's good now.
