Before I attempt to pull the lens to get at the flash contact, I want to eliminate the flash terminal itself. I did remove it and it looks to be a little buggered up. If I disconnect the brown lead from the terminal, place a test light or continuity meter on the bare end and ground the other test lead to the body, shouldn't I get a reaction when I fire the shutter? This would tell me if I'm getting contact and current to the terminal itself wouldn't it? I placed a needle in the brown lead as far back into the body as I could reach, placed a lead on it and another lead on the end of the wire and got a reading, simply telling me the wire is good for that section, but the contact or the terminal still could be bad. Any other suggestions before I attempt pulling the lens, and is there any web site showing a diagram showing the disassembly of the lens to get at the flash terminal?

Thanks, Harlee
