Shutter seems to be stuck, won't advance, and mirror stuck in the up position. Battery seems good. Battery check works, light meter indicates the f-stop. I can move a lever on the bottom and cock it. When I depress the shutter release it seems to work, then the mirror gets stuck again. Still cannot turn advance lever. Please give any insight you can.
try pulling down gently on the mirror and see if it comes down. If so, it is likely the problem of the foam above the mirror (shock pad) having deteriorating.
