I am so new at this I probably can't even phrase the question correctly.

I inherited an Olympus OM 10. When the lens is set on infinity the top and bottom of the image in the center of the lens will not line up. The top is a little to the right of the bottom, on a utility pole for example.

Is this a fixable problem or a new lens problem?

Thank you

I assume you're talking about the split image in the viewfinder. This could be a camera or a lens problem. If possible, find another lens and try it. If the result is the same, then is is likely a camera problem. If not, it is likely a lens problem. In either case a new lens should not be required. Determine which is a fault and then go from there.
