I just purchased a used Super Program and found that the depth of field preview lever is stiff to operate. Is there a simple fix, should I take it to a professional and will it affect any other operation of the camera if I just leave it alone?

Just being stiff shouldn't affect any other camera functions. Is it stiff to operate the lever when there is no lens attached? and does the lens stop down quickly and correctly when the shutter fires?

Thanks, It ended up that I answered my own question. Apparently the previous owner never used it. A little oil on the shaft and operating the lever for a while freed it up...it now works fine.
