I have a Safari Edition 110 and up until very recently the film wind worked very well. It would only slip once during a roll of film. However, it has now taken to slipping on almost every picture. I've found a post on the internet saying that I should remove the bottom plate, clean the spring, and then reassemble. Is there any advice from anyone? Thanks in advance. karl.

Hi Karl
This seems like a common problem on Pentax 110 cameras as they age, not had the problem myself yet though. The only info I have found may well be the same as you have seen :-

Hope this may be of some help.

Karl (would you beleive it)
